STEP 1: COMPLETE THE ONLINE APPLICATION
All applications must be submitted by Wednesday, January 25, 2017. The $100 application fee must be paid upon submission of the application. When you complete the online application, you will have access to the admission portal where you will request your transcripts and school recommendations. (See below.) You will also be automatically registered to take the entrance examination on January 28. 2016.
STEP 2: REQUEST YOUR OFFICIAL TRANSCRIPTS
Submit the “Parent Authorization for Release of School Records” to your current school. This form is available through the admission portal.
STEP 3: SUBMIT A SCHOOL RECOMMENDATION
Please request a recommendation from your Math and/or English electronically through the admission portal. Your teacher(s) will be able to submit the form directly to us electronically.
STEP 4: WRITE A PERSONAL STATEMENT
After submitting your application, you will be asked to complete a brief response to an opinion based question that allows us to assess your writing style as well as your character.
STEP 5: TAKE THE HIGH SCHOOL PLACEMENT TEST (HSPT) ON JANUARY 28
The entrance test will be administered at Ramona Convent on Saturday, January 28, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. All applicants will be automatically registered for the exam at Ramona Convent and will receive an exam ticket in mid-January.
STEP 6: COMPLETE AN ADMISSION INTERVIEW
Family Interviews are a required part of the admission process and will be held at various times on Wednesday, February 1, 2017; Tuesday, February 7, 2017; and Thursday, February 9, 2017. Interview sign-ups will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2017, before the HSPT Exam.
STEP 7: ATTEND THE APPLICANTS’ TEA PARTY
All applicants and a “Remarkable Woman” in their life invited to attend a special tea party hosted by our Ramona Ambassadors and their mothers on Sunday, February 26, 2017.
STEP 8: TRACK YOUR APPLICATION STATUS
You may track your admission status through the online portal. Notification of admissions decisions will be mailed on March 3, 2017. Applications received after this date will be reviewed on an on-going basis.
