Are you an independent learner and thinker?
Ramona Scholars projects give you a chance dive into your passions. Explore your interests through reading one or more books and completing an interesting project.
Participating in this summer reading program helps you expand your knowledge of a topic you care about, improve your reading strategies, enrich your vocabulary, and develop your critical thinking skills.
Upon successful completion of a project, you will receive a scholar pin, recognition, and, most importantly, the pleasure of independent learning.
Projects are due to the appropriate department chairpersons the second week of school. You can complete as many projects as you have time for this summer and you will be honored for all of these projects during our Fall Honors Assembly.
All students, including incoming 9th graders, are invited. Choose from the subject areas listed to the right to learn about each department's Ramona Scholar project.
