High academic standards, engaged teachers, and a personalized path to success make sure that every student achieves more than she thought possible. Many of our students have been recognized as AP Scholars, AP Scholars with Honors, AP Scholars with Distinction, or National AP Scholars.
Our Catholic, distinctively Holy Names values promote active engagement in life and a socially responsible global vision. Our students agree with Blessed Mother Marie-Rose Durocher, Foundress of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary, who says, "Since we tread along the same path, let us lend a hand to one another." During their four years at Ramona, the class of 2023 gave more than 13,240 hours of service to those in need.
At Ramona, your classmates become sisters. Student leadership and a welcoming school culture bring students from many different schools, communities and countries together, sparking sisterhood and life-long friendships.
Every student develops her capacity as a resilient, effective leader because leadership training is infused throughout the academic and co-curricular programs. You will practice public speaking and effective communication, make decisions, and work in teams to solve real problems. You can access powerful role models and mentors through our Ramona Speakers Programs.

Every student is extraordinarily well prepared—spiritually, academically and emotionally—for college and life. Because you will develop scholarship, responsibility, commitment, leadership and spiritual depth, you will thrive in college and beyond, living a meaningful life full of confidence and purpose.
You will develop your potential and find a place in our community through access to extensive offerings in science and the arts and a broad selection of sports and co-curricular programs. Taking seven classes each semester gives you the opportunity to take additional electives and try something new while meeting all college entrance requirements.
Ramona sports inspire leadership, confidence, and health. Ramona's teams participate in the Camino del Rey - Soledad League for volleyball, cross country, basketball, soccer, softball, swim, and track and field. A majority of our students play on at least one team, while many others are tri-athletes. Team membership is encouraged across all grade levels, and team selection is skill based with most programs offering teams at the varsity, junior varsity, and frosh levels.
