Student Life

Unity, Friendship, Sisterhood, Diversity, Equality, Welcome, Empowerment, Fun… YOU!

At Ramona, classmates become sisters.

Positive student leadership and a welcoming school culture bring students from many schools, communities, and countries together, sparking sisterhood and life-long friendships.

Dive into your classes, sports, service, art, choir, theatre, student government, clubs, or robotics; and join a community of young women who learn together, have fun, support one another, build sisterhood, and create lifelong memories.

“Ramona is family, friends and food.”
Kathleen N. ‘18

Ramona students come from more than 119 elementary and middle schools and 63 zip codes from around the San Gabriel Valley and across the globe; so, from the beginning of the year, we make sure that everyone has a chance to get to know each other.

Thoughtfully planned activities during the first weeks of school help each new class develop friendships, build strong community bonds, and feel at home.

From New Student Orientation, to Welcome Week, the Club Fair, the Fall Dance, and the unforgettable Freshman On-Campus Overnight Retreat, each event is planned and led by older students who remember what it's like to be new and know how to build "Tiger" spirit.

Here are just a few of those events:

We celebrate sisterhood!

Welcome Week, Picnics, Club Fair, Pep Rallies, Team Gold and Team White, Junior Ring Ceremony, Rose Week, Senior Sunrise, Senior Sunset, Strawberry Day.

We celebrate tradition!

Senior Mother-Daughter Tea, Strawberry Day, Father-Daughter Dinner Dance, Spirit Week, Senior-Freshmen Buddies, Faculty-Student Volleyball Game, Senior Roses.

We celebrate spirituality!

Retreats, Liturgies, Prayer Services, Service Projects, Catholic Schools' Week, Service Day, Service Fair.

Are you Team GOLD or Team WHITE?

Students show fierce loyalty to their teams, Team Gold or Team White, in this year-long Tiger spirit competition. Students earn spirit points for their teams through participation in activities and traditions. High-spirited pep rallies and games as simple as a water balloon toss or moments as sublime as Strawberry Day guarantee that "Our stripes run deep!"
